I am a simple man. Born and raised just west of the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains, I lived a life in the outdoors. From fishing to hiking, I was always connecting with nature whenever I could get out of the house. My love for nature continued through my high school years and elevated when I got a camera for my 16th birthday. This new item increased my love for the smaller things in the wild such as squirrels and insects that I once thought of as minimal creatures. However, the view from a zoomed lens made even the smaller beings feel as if they were the same as the bigger predators. This is where my passion started and has continued today.
The Sierra Nevada mountains features a beautiful scenery that changes substantially through the seasons. In the summer, hiking through the foothills feature an array of animals and the occasional bear that may be with her cubs. In the fall, the leaves begin to change and the wind chill increases as the snow awaits just weeks away. During the winter, world class skiing and snow shoeing bring in crowds around the United States to get a taste of what the famous mountains have to offer. And in the spring, the weather begins to warm and the glimmering snow produce warm weather for all to enjoy.
There are many activities in the Sierra Nevadas that are world renowned. Many companies have capitalized on the attraction and have created successful businesses from the offerings the mountain has to give. When I graduate college I plan on working in the ski resort industry and hopefully one day I will run my own ski resort.
